The Society for Industrial and Systems Engineering will be holding its Eighth Annual World Conference on October 17-18, 2019. The conference will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Baltimore at BWI Airport in the Baltimore, Maryland area.

Call for Papers

Individuals interested in presenting their research/case study must submit an abstract of no more than 300-words in English before August 17, 2019 by using our online web portal ( . All abstracts will be reviewed by the Conference Advisory Committee and authors will be notified via email before August 21, 2019. Conference Proceedings

This year's conference will feature the new process of publishing peer-reviewed conference articles/papers. All submitted full papers/articles will be peer-reviewed by the society's technical committee before publication in the conference proceedings in external media. The conference program with brief abstract for each article will be available before and at the conference. Revised and expanded versions of selected papers registered and presented at the conference will be considered for publication in future issues of Industrial and Systems Engineering Review (ISER) - the society's journal.

Student Paper Award

Interested students are encouraged to submit their abstracts with a cover letter indicating their interests in the student paper award, letter from advisor/professor indicating contribution towards the research, and proof of student status (undergraduate or graduate) to a Conference Chair by September 17, 2019. Papers with the student as the sole author or with only one faculty advisor as the registered co-author will be considered for the Student Award.
